Banner's AppAssist Program
How it works
  1. Get contracted with BSI and be sure to ask for the App Assist signature page.
  2. Once you have obtained an agent code number you may create a sign on to the App Assist site.
  3. Complete a “Request for Life Insurance Interview” or RLI on line or by printing.
  4. RLI is submitted to Banner Life electronically or by fax.
  5. Banner Call center conducts application interview
  6. Banner Call center orders the Paramed
  7. Application package is sent to the client for review and signature
  8. Client returns application package to Banner Life
  9. BSI case management support provided through underwriting as usual
  10. Policy is sent directly to client with Delivery Requirements
  11. Client returns Delivery Requirements to Banner Life
